The Leitchfield City Police received its first call about 9:00 Thursday night regarding a UFO.
The call was reported by an individual who also videotaped the sighting.
According to the report the UFO was seen at Clarkson in the HWY. 1214 and 1356 area.
Calls were made to the Indianapolis Flight Center, the Bowling Green Airport, and to Fort Knox in an attempt to confirm the identity of the object.
Friday afternoon WHAS and WAVE television stations visited Leitchfield and the area of the sighting trying to make a conclusion.
As of Friday evening no definite conclusions had been made. So you can be sure that Friday night in Grayson County will be a quiet one as the residents gaze out their windows in the hopes to see a "FIRE IN THE SKY".
