DEL NORTE, Colo. (AP) - More than 20 area residents claim to have seen strange lights and objects that change color in the Del Norte night sky above ``D'' Mountain earlier this week.
Del Norte resident Mary Ann Jones said she and a friend saw a triangular-shaped, honeycomb-like object in the sky around 11 p.m. Sunday night that ``just disappeared'' after they had been watching it for about an hour. One witness reported seeing two of the objects separate from the others and drift down to below cloud level. Another witness described one object as having twinkling blue and red lights around it. Most witnesses describe similar accounts of the incidents.
Alamosa County sheriff's deputies said they hadn't seen the objects.
